I read that you can do (B1-A1)*24 but for the values where A is in PM and B is in AM this returns a negative hour much larger than what it should be. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I'm using excel 2002 and have a worksheet with approx. 450 row entrie and a 10 column list header. For some reason, when I apply the autofilter function the results see to be 'sorted' rather than unwanted data being hidden.
