A2:A5 = 100, 200, 300, 400 respectively.
B2:B5 =      5,  15,   30,  40 respectively.
A1 and B1 are both blanks.
=SUMIF(A2:A5,"300",B2:B5) yields 30.  Okay.

Select the SalesPivot sheet (the one one screen when the file is opened).  Drag all the fields including page field ...

I set up a custom cell format to bring forward (1.) the sum a cell, which is
a DATE and (2.) the sum of a different cell, which is a %.  However, the
program is taking the luxury of converting the -% data to a positive %
number.  Why is this, and how can I correct it?

I have two EXCEL 2000 workbooks( Estimates.xls and Prices.xls).
Workbook 'Estimates.xls' has 1 worksheet with empty cells (C&D) that need
populating if columns A&B are filled in, see below.

I went to message board, but the referred sites at MS no longer available.
a) The Excel 'Fill' color is not working at all.
b)  And, the 'Font' color seems to be locked somehow. No matter what color I

I can't get nested subtotals to work.  With totals set to appear above the
data, the very first "sub-subtotal" appears above the first "sub-total".

I have 51 sheets in the same workbook.
The front sheet is a summary sheet of the 50 behind.
Each sheet has a list of codes with a value next to it, but the same code is
not on the same line in each sheet.

I'm sure many of you have seen the performance numbers published by most
mutual fund companies for their different funds.  They usually show MTD
(month to date),  YTD (year to date), 1 year, 3 year, and 5 year percentage
returns.
