my colleague and I both have Office 2003.  The Smart Tags on my PC seem to be
working differently to my colleagues.  On mine,if any numbers have been
stored as text, it flags them up with a smart tag and I can quickly convert
them to numbers, however, on his PC, they are not ...

I am trying to make the average function ignore 0's and errors.  The
following array formula works to ignore the 0's, but I got stuck trying to
make it ignore errors.

I used to be able to right-click on a cell, copy then right-click on another
cell and choose from a dialog box either 'all', 'formulas', 'value',
'formats', etc., but now all that comes up is a dialog box asking if I want
to paste as 'Unicode Text' or 'Text'.  How do I get back ...

I am trying to count the number of occurences when conditions in two columns
are met.  I can count each individual column values with =countif function.  
But, I can't seem to count only if a value is found in both column A and B to
be true.  Please see example below.

Not sure if there is a better way of doing this ...
I have a workbook comprising several sheets.  The main sheet on which I
input data lists projects that are started and finished throughout the year.
In simple terms, the columns are: Date Started, Project Owner, Brief
