My Excel does not recognize countif function27 Nov 2006 16:07 GMT4
I followed the help menu to try to use the countif function, but it
just doesn't work out. I used direct copy from the excel help menu, so
that the function could not possibly has any typo problem. Can anybody
tell me why my countif problem doesn't recognized by office? thx.

I'm working on a cumbesome spreadsheet (not my creation). I'm trying to
add a cell to formula (just a sum of numbers) and am getting a "formula
too long" message. I've never seen this before. Can I change it and if
so, how?

watch that appears.  Is this possible?  I made them a calendar to select from

I have strings that are in Column A. These strings are composed of cities
and zip codes sample is below:

Why when a try to sum a number of time entries on a spreadsheet who's total
should be around 192 (worked hours per month) does the total appear as 00:00.
This is despite uning the [hh]:mm format, timesing the whole by 24 and
numerous other 'ideas'

I need to calculate a year-to-date total from a list of daily production
values. Each day has individual production totals, and it's own daily total,

I have a sheet with 2 columns. One column the user enters one of three
possible values in the first column.  There is a piece of code in the
worksheet that based on their selection the second column will have a

When i copied formulas from D1 through D6, why is it that D2 to D6 valve is
the same as D1? But the cell refects the correct formulas.

I want to know what formula to use to find the total number of things in a
column. For example if 'Strawberry' is written in column 'J' 10 times, I want
to have a seperate page that shows that information.
