I am trying to setup a graph that will show the last five values from a range
in Excel.
The range is setup so that there could be gaps in the list:
Week 1         20000

I am creating a Family History data base on Excel and I cannot seem to get
the cells to format when the years are past 1900.
How do I format the cell to recognize....example  9/16/1898 to read as
"16-Sept-1898"

I'm hoping someone can help with the following...
I tried checking the SUMIF and SUMPRODUCT archives with no success.
Maybe I am not using the correct function.
Here is my current formula

if i select an array/range of cells, i want only those cells to be able to
be selected and/or data input into them.
But i did not want a popup msg to ask for a password, just a "DISABLED"

Hi! I have a long list of numbers ranging from -100 to 100. The list contains
many thousands of numbers. I want to count the number of cells containing eg
the number 11. How can I do this?

I have a column of 2000 dollar amounts that I need to break up into 6
groupings.  Obviously I could divide the number of rows by 6 and get my
intervals, in this case 300.
However, I need to base these intervals , not on the count but on the dollar

I was asked by a friend: he opened a very big file (no access to the origin
one any more) in excel and now he noticed that in some cells the data were
not seperated properly like in a cell it is; 10  23 while it should be 10 in
one cell and 23 in next cell.

I have a row in a spreadsheet with three cells that I want to find the max.
Each cell is a references an IF statement. The cells contain time:
mmss-format. When I use the max. function it will not work-on this row. On
