Trying to create multple rows with each showing [14.3 hrs @ $185/hr] (each row different hours and $rate) It's necessary for us to have the brackets showing, but a cell with [14.3 in it is not recognized as a number - same thing applies to the $185/hr

I have just upgraded to office 2007. Looks great but..if I hide or unhide a column in one sheet it affects columns in another sheet also? And I cant print or pdf just one sheet. I get all the pages even when only one is selected...

I already know how to sum a *range* of cells. Click, drag, release, and then click on the Sigma icon. That sums up a range of cells.

I've downloaded a csv file from bank. The date needs to be in MM/DD/YYYY. I type in in as text 01/01/2007 but when I save it it reverts back to date format.

HI, I have a spreadsheet with formulas. When I go to Tools Options, Formula Auding the Trace Precedent Bars are grayed out. Why? When I go to tools options view and click on view all, it shows up, BUT IT PLACES A BOX WITH A SCROLLING BAR ON IT that I cannot get rid of.

Anyone know how to convert a list of number (A1:A78) to a 6 column grid so the numbers go down 6 rows and down the next 6 rows etc until you reach the end of the list/col? I'd like to do it in VBA but I'm not clever enough!
