Novice excel user here.
I am trying to use the insert function feature to insert a IF statement to
make a cell a 1 or 0 based on the value of a cell on a different worksheet.  
The command I am using is as follows:

If I save a template how do I use it without losing it.
If I use it to fill in blanks and need to save it. How do I know the
template will stay in its file and not change?

Is there anyway to change to default sort order?  I am trying to sort in a
list percentage change from prior year, but in the case when there is no
prior year information the display is "N/A", which is fine, but I need it
sorted to the bottom of the list when I sort descending.  ...

Anyone have tips on how to speed up the calculations in a workbook?  I've
