I have a document that I just need to extract specific information in and build into a new document. Is there a way that I can extract than information on a continous level. The info starts with the same first 3 letters but has different endings? Any ideas??

I got a number of cell the first has the date the second has a number of entry's in it, being completed, ss, inv, tl, and mgr, what I need is a way to get the oldest date that do not have completed, so is there any way to get the answer for this, it is to produce some thing like,

I would like to use functions to get values of columns that have numbers in them after sorting them. For example, after sorting, I would like to find the average, standard deviation or mean for the numbers in the column. Please advise how to do this.

it´s possible, in excel 2003, using a function, counting the number of cells in a colum that have text in black and text in red charaters. ex: colum "payment"; (B5:B56); and counting employees in black text, and employee in red text???

Using Excel. I have created a graph using font size 14 for all words a numbers. To find a number entered in the graph I click on Edit, then find. When I type in the number I want to locate in the graph. The font in the find box is like font size ( 8 ).
