i want excel to convert any number in words automatically
for example cell A1 total is 100
then in cell A2 excel should put " ONE HUNDRED"

I am using a COUNTIF formula to pick up the number of inputted data in cells
for example AL, HAL, TO, PD etc which works a treat.
Is there a way I can input two text items in one cell...say AL and TO for
the COUNTIF formula to still pick up the correct data or do I need to rework ...

I know that I can show the work in a formula by simply using a &. Example,
with A1 =2 and A2 =3, I type =A1+A2 in a cell This can be converted to the
cells values by entering =A1&"+"&A2. This will return 2+3 in the cell. My
question. Is there a shortcut to accomplish this?

New latitde d620 using excel, when I try to color a cell by selecting the
cell and clicking on the fill icon, nothing happens.  What setting do i need

I am using this formula  =AVERAGE(IF(K8:K964<>0, K8:K964,""))  to average all
the numbers in a column.  It has been working fine until the other day.  Now
all I get is #VALUE.
What could be the problem?

When working in excel using subtotals my original subtotals appear inside my
nested subtotals, but they should be a summary of the nested ones, not
included in the nested.  Anyone help me with this?  Is it a setting issue or

I need to total sums of different worksheets that are copied into a workbook

I created a time sheet.  The time card information is inputted into the time
sheet to calculated with hours worked and rate.  This is great until an
employee is late or leaves early.  Excel will calculate the late time and end
time whether employee punched out on time or earlier ...
