I have two lists of items. The first is, for example 50 items - List A. I want to look at another list (shorter, say 10 items - List B). I want to see what items in List A have a matching item in List B and return a value in that row.

I started a side by side compare in excel and the program closed abnormally before I closed the side by side compare and now when I call up this worksheet, there are two worksheets with the same name except one is :1 and the other is :2 at the end of the name.

If Edit, Paste Special values strips the formulas from a range and leaves the values, I would expect Edit, Paste Special, Formulas to do the opposite. But, it doesn't. So, I have two questions: 1) Is there anyway to copy a range and paste just the formulas in the result? 2) What ...

All my searches have lead me to ways to eliminate duplicates in a column- not what I'm trying to do... If the value in column C is the same as the value in column D for the same row, I want to erase it. Is there an easy way to do this? (I think I remember reading about a way

I made the rows and columns bigger but I still cannot see the contents of the cells. When I click on a cell, the contents display in the formula bar, but not on the sheet. PLEASE HELP!
