I'm trying to perform a sum on a few rows, but when I add a new row I have to update the range in the sum to have the new row included. Is there a way to have the range update to include the new row(s)? Hope that makes sense lol.

Can anyone tell me how to eliminate the extra cells that display on an EXCEL Worksheet? I got one back that now displays 66000 rows. This makes it hard to navigate.

This is my first post and probably will be my most confusing lol, I am creating a excel document for a college graphic arts class. Bascially I would be entering alot of projects with due dates for everyone of them and I would call this sheet "inner class"

Is there a way to set up an auto-tab? Once I enter a certain number of digits in a cell (say 8), I want the cursor to tab to the next cell on its own. Just like when you fill in your telephone number on-line and the cursor jumps to the next box after you've entered a 3-digit area ...

I feel like this may be a really dumb question but here goes. I've been using Excel for several months now to creat various spreadsheets. In order to avoid formula errors or to end up with 0's on all the unused lines I have been using If formulas for example:

The scroll lock in status bar shows "on" without a tick in the checkbox. The only way I can overcome it is to turn the computer off, then start again. Any suggestions ?
