Is there a formula that distinguishes if a cell contains a number as a result
of a formula or data that has been directly input (i.e., formula
overwritten)?

I am using this "IF" statement and I want the "IF True" to return data from 2
different cells.  This is working however there is no space between the data
so "Customer_List!A121 & Customer_List!P121" shows up as Acme10000 and I want
it to display as Acme 10000.

I am working on a 30,60,90 days report in excel that provides a sales rep

I need to report values as "<x" such as <0.1 , but want to assign a value of
zero when performing mathematical equations, and want to be able to count
them separately from values that don't have "<".  I'm looking for syntext in

I am using Excel 2000, and I cannot get RAND and IF functions to work
together properly.
For example, B2 is =RAND()*(6-1)+1 to generate a random number between 1 and

I'm using relative referencing, but what exactly happening is when I copy the
formula i.e =A1+B1 from Cell C1 to Cell C2, the formula copied in Cell C2  is
=A2+B2 as expected, but the value is of Cell C1 i.e value of =A1+B1. why is
the value not changing ?
