I have a 12,000 row spreadsheet that contain sales tax received by various businesses. One particular business may have 2 records or 20 records. Also, there are two types of sales tax which are all in the same field COMPANY NAME TAX TYPE AMOUNT

I would like to format dates prior to "today" in red. I have 2007. My guess is I should use a formula when selecting a rule type, but <today() doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

I would like to send an excel file to 2 person. I want the first one to be able to open the 4 sheets and the second person to be able to open ONLY the first 2 sheets (therefore I don't want him to see the 2 'banned' sheets).

Can I enter something into the custom section of an auto fitter so that it looks for lines that just have one character e.g. an initial as apposed to a name? Thanks

I have around 30 worksheets. Each work sheet has some values in it. Around 10 to 1000 rows of data in each sheet. Now, I have to find a text called, say, "apple" in all the sheets and print the sheet name, and rows values in the 31st sheet.

I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS POSSIBLE. I WANT SOME CELLS TO HAVE A CERTAIN DOLLAR AMOUNT VALUE TO EACH CELL. THIS SHOULD NOT BE DISPLAYED IN THE CELL. I WANT THOSE SAME CELLS TO DISPLAY DATES AS I ENTER THEM WHEN THE DATES PASS.
