I am working on an analysis of responses to a survey. There are 50 questions which are broken up into 6 sections. I need to provide a subtotal for each section. The responses are levels of agreement - Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree or NA. See the layout below:

in Excel 2003 use functions or conditional formating, how do you copy colour from another source (reference) text cell to the current cell. (Being used to colour code reflecting user entered data and selected colours).

Hi all, is there a way to write a sumif formula where the column of the data to be summed is a variable? In cell A1, I have a pulldown menu of Months. Across row 2, I have the months Jan-Dec. I'm trying to vary the column to be summed based on the month selected in A1.
