Is it possible to sort by the fill-in color in Excel? I do a lot of highlighting rows, etc. and it would be so much easier than having to cut and paste.

I am attempting to copy a formula and extend the data range and when I do, the bradkets { } around the new formula vanish and the formula does not work. I attempt to put the brackets in manually, and this does not work. What is this?

In the last year, whenever I use Excel 2000 spreadsheet, I key in a number [eg: 500 creates 5.00]. I have attempted to change the cell format to 'General' without success. Changing to 'Number' brings the same result except that the number is truncated [5]. This has become

Fairly large amounts of text pasted into cells. All cells have text wrapped, aligned left and centred and have adjusted row height and column width but still can't see all text in some cells. Does anyone know why this is happening - particularly since it is not in all cells?
