I'm not a sophisticated user of Excel but am wondering, if it is possible, how I can set up a work sheet to figure out how much interest is owed when someone is paying me late on their mortgage payment.

My spreadsheet (main.xls) has a number of macros. One of them (macro1) tries to open another spreadsheet (file.xls). However, when file.xls opens, the macro stops, rather than continuing with the rest of its code. I have similar code in macro2, but it seems to work as expected.

I am working with a spreadsheet with two tabs of 1,000 rows. I would like to hyperlink from one to the other. I can install a hyperlink in row one, but when I try to copy and paste for the next 999 rows, the link stays up on row one instead of following down the the next rows.

I'm using Excel 2003 (Windows XP) and have been unsuccessfully attempting to count the occurence of more than one condition (I used the formula found in HELP). I always end up with VALUE! whether I'm on a PC or my Mac. So I designed my own formula that works on both platforms:
