How do I sum across a table the results of several vlookup functions.
In my table I have three columns. In each column is the result of a vlookup
function. I sum across the three colums , in the fourth column and the result
that returns is "Value".

I have a spreadsheet that tracks weapon type and their qualification steps in
two categories (primary and secondary weapon). There are 4 columns in each
category: weapon type, Day, NBC, Night.

Hi, I need help creating an IF formula. I need to enter value, if it happened
in 2008 (1/1/2008-12/31/2008), otherwise enter zero.

I do not want the 2 dialog boxes popping up to help me enter a formula, I
want to just be able to hit the formula key & enter the formula like I used
to in the older office Excel. The pop up boxes slow me down.

numbers in my set fall into certain categories that I want to create. For
example, if I want my category to include all the numbers ...

Can anyone help on how to properly write a function to count the number of
cells in a column with a certain value if they have a corresponding value in
a different column?  For example, I want to count how many times "BIG"
appears in Column B, if the same row has "B" in Column A.

I have this following problem.
If a certain amount (P) is receivable after certain period, I would like to
know the present value (V) of that future receipt (P), discounted at a
certain percentage (R).  The discounting has to be done on a monthly basis

I'm trying to count the occurrences of any given month in a rage where the
cells are in a date&time format. (11/02/2008 11:22:53)
For example in the range A1:A30 I want to count the number of times the
month of February occurs.
