I have formatted a cell for dates. When I enter a date it will put a = sign in font of the date and will not display the correct date. it displays 1/0/00 as the date. How do I get raid of the = sign.

I have created a drop down menu. Each customer has 3 or 4 presses, on my worksheet if I choose a specific customer I should have the specific pressess , but the list contains 0 values as well as the presses that the customer uses , how can I get rid of the 0 values

Running Excel (Office 2007) on WinXP. My spreadsheet is used for tracking sales of Girl Scout cookies. Need to determine how many cases and/or boxes of cookies are needed. 12 boxes per case.
