This worksheet is shared for multiple users and is protected so format can
not be changed.  Need ability to add comments to certain columns with drop
down lists.  Comment icon is not available when protected.

I want to create a link for each charge number in ChargeNumbers.xls that will
open the related project details for that charge number in another workbook,
Projects.xls. I've created named ranges for each project in the Projects
workbook (columns A & B).

I've got a large worksheet doing a variety of calculations. One section of

I am trying to hide many columns in a large Excel file. A dialogue box
appears stating: Cannot move objects off sheet. The box prevents me from
hiding any columns. All filters, formatting, hidden panes, frozen panes, etc.
are turned off.

I have a very simple linked formula ( i.e.  =personnel!C1  ) which I
use on multiple sheets to reference the "main" sheet titled personnel
and cell reference C1.
( lets title the sheets for simplicity   1) Personnel   2) Task   3)

I have a workbook that contains 18 spreadsheets and someone in the office
accidently linked data from a different workbook. I have searched this
workbook and cannot find any formula with an exterenal link. Also the
spreadsheet being linked from, no longer exists but every time I ...

Using EXCEL and clicking on file the previous 4 files opened are shown; can
this list be increased to say 9 or 10 files

I am trying to return the Min in one column, based on criteria in 2 other
columns. Example:

I'm using the following formula, but have to add the number lines manually. I
know there has to be a formula to ease my burden.

I'm trying to have a percentage calculation continue down the column. I have
amount owing in A2, amount paid in B2, balance in C2, interest on that
balance in D2.  
I want to have E2 include the balance from C2 plus the interest calculated

I have 5 columns containing different supervisor levels.  Some columns are
blank.  I would like to write a formula to evaluate the 5 columns and return
the name in the farthest right column.  Thank you!

Here is what I am trying to do.
I have 3 sheets (A, B and C) for 3 different processes to track the overtime
of the employees.
I have a summary sheet on which I have a dropdown that lists all 3

I have a table for sales in each month of the year (have used only 6 mths is
example) and want to be able to calculate the total sales for any given
period. The given period.The "from" and "to" will be  sourced from two  other
cells, I have put these cells in " " in my example.
