In an existing workbook I have a blank preformated and preformulized worksheet. When I copy this worksheet into a new workbook all of the column formatting and formulas are deleted. Can this be fixed in this version of Excel? Your help is very much appreciated!

I seem to be unable to copy or paste anything. The icons on the tool bar are shaded and unable to be used. Even if I right click the copy and paste options are also shaded and will not work
