I am trying to use the funcation =TEXT(value,format_text) and I do not know
what to do with the format_text.    I am trying to convert a number "1.009"
to a text of "1009"

I often get data files from instruments where many initial rows all have the
same value, typically zero, but not limited to that. Often these files are
text files with 100+ columns.

Please give me help in formulating correct use of Countif Function.
The duplicated values are given the highest number when it is beging of the
sheet the last one is given the least number of the repetitions...like
My Data     Countif shows

the countif function when applied it returns the values in decending order of
the repitions where as i wanted to have it in ascending order of the
repeations...i.e the frist in the data is 1..2.3...like this not like
3...2...1.. which make the lastest given the 1 and the oldest ...
