i need help with a formula to determine number of days between 2 dates to
determine % amount, paid less than 7 days before due = 0% discount, paid 7
-13 before due = 3% discount etc etc

In Excel 2000 I'm at a bit of a loss on how to search a list in column A and
return all the unique matches to items in column B. Column A is already
sorted in asending order. I want the resulting data to be in columns D and E
without all the duplicates in column A.

I have a date 1/25/2008 and I want to format to 1/2008 with the format still
being a date not text so that it will pivot on a chart with that info.

I have a lot of names in rows across several spreadsheets.  I need to know

I am creating an Equipment Status worksheet for my job. Is there a formula
that I can use to change the background color of a paticular cell if I type
the word of that paticular color in it? I.E. in the status column I type the
word "red" how can I make that cell's background ...

A1 thru A31 contains a total of 214 characters.
A lot of the cells have a custom number formats (like 00000000000 or
00000 or 0000000).
A32 contains =A1&B1&C1 thru A31

Simple Question ( I think ). I have a cell set up with the formula "=TODAY()"
in it. I have formatted this cell to look like just the month (i.e. May /
mmmm ) . I then have a series of Concatenate formulaes set up which connects
to tha cell, for example =concatenate("text", C5, ...

I have a large (over 500 row) spreadsheet for tabulating simple data. The Sum
function has suddenly stopped working when I copy and paste it to a new
location.  Instead of delivering the sum of the range in the pasted location
it delivers the number from the location it is copied ...
