I tried to used a link in an OFFSET function this way: =OFFSET([abc.xls]Sheet1!$A$1,0,0,1,1) where I pass as a first argument a external reference (link) to another file.

I have a function F() implemented in an XLL, which depends on cell C. Even though it calls Excel4(xlCoerce) on that cell, Excel doesn't seem to add the cell to the dependency graph. As a result, changes to cell C don't cause Excel to recalculate cells which call F().
