thanks, but that is not the issue......no email addresses are
initially entered, just a formula, say "+r5*.05".....it places the
value in the dcell, but it makes it a hyprtlink to an email...its
driving me crazy

    occasionally when I entre a formula in a cell, the result is
entreed in the ell as a hyperlink which seems to open an email window.
I cannot seem to figure out why this is happening.  This is in office
2003.
