When I open a excel file,  there is prompt indicating there are link in this
file.
Since this file has so much sheet and data,  is there anyway that I can use

I often need to copy some data from internet home page for further
processing e.g. list of computer hardware components listed as table in
various web sites. It's easy by just highlighting the concerned area in
opened html file then use windows copy & paste function to paste them

i havea new workbook copied from an 'older' one.
I want to remove all the links from the new one
i have tried 'breaklinks' through the edit menu
i have tried findlinks.xla - which works great, but i cannot use it

I am new to writing macros...I have a few books but I can't seem to
figure this on out. So, I have the following data:

I have an excel file (say, c:\Master.xls) that link externally to othe
files (say, C:\xyz\OtherFile.xls).  We need to send (via email
Master.xls to someone for editing (but OtherFile.xls is not sen
together).  When the file is sent back to me, the link to OtherFile.xl

I need to embed two spreadsheets in a Word doc - one has detail rows, the
other has summary. They must be on different pages, with text between them.
How to link the summary to the detail, so that changes in detail rows are
automatically reflected in the summary? I know I can ...

When my current work is complete I am going to have to tidy up my working
documents which ate in different folders. Is there a way to do this and
preserve the links within them please?
