How can I shut off date autoformatting?  I have a cell that I have to
enter the numbers "02-03" (no quotes), but Excel keeps turning it into a
date.  How can I get around this?  Setting AutoFormatting to None or
setting the cell type to General does nothing.  Any ideas, anyone?

I have 5 cells that I wisk to concatenate.  Each cell currently contain
1-5 words within it.  When I concatenate I want commas separating eac
value with double quotation marks at the start of the concatenated cel

I'm running Win2k SP3, Excel 2000 SP-1 and have created SQL questions
that fetch data from an Oracle 8i DB via ODBC.
Sometimes (or actually quite often) I can't edit the SQL questions in
MS Query. The MS Query icon just flashes in the taskbar and disappears.

you can have. I really need to have four row fields, but my chart will only
allow me three. What determines the number possible?

Is there a way to format cells so that when a number is
entered as "125" Excel automatically formats it to 1.25 or
$1.25? I have tried the special formats, number and currency
