I am trying to format a column, column - A- for example that would be numbered 1 through 300. It has to always keep this sequence even when the spread- sheet information is deleted or a new address is added. Help!

Bit of a newbie to Excel, forgive my ignorance. I have a very simple spreadsheet containing on average 50 rows, of which the text is in three different colours in column "A", is there a solution that can count how many of each colour there is?

When I click the black plus mark to autofill a column, instead o calculating the formula that I entered in the first cell, it repeat the same answer as in the first cell. How to avoid this? should I try reinstalling excel software?

My Dad upgraded recently to XP--all his previous files were in Works. Is there an easy conversion? I don't have the ability to "see" his computer, so trying to fix this issue remotely.

I have an MP3 tag program that exports a list of my MP3's to excel which includes the time for each song. The cell format in the exported file is set to general but I need to have the time entered as [m]:ss so I can total a the time for a number of songs
