I'm just trying to create a short pulldown list in a spreadsheet.  Instead
of having to retype repetitve selections for this spreadsheet that gets used
a lot, I'd like to create a pulldown list, but I'm not sure which kind of
list to choose and I'm not sure how to enter the list.

Is there a shortcut of any sort to convert a relative value to absolut
without having to individually edit the cell.
Many moons ago I used to be able to do it in Symphony with a functio
key, but have not been able to find if it is possible in Excel.

    Having a little difficulty here. Using Excel 2000/WinNT4.

I ran into a really bizarre problem today, and I'm wondering if anyone
else has experienced it.
I had a cell which was formatted as text (wrap text on). I filled it

Someone described to me a feature (add-on?) of Excel whereby a palette on
the desktop holds the arithmetic operators (+, -, *, /, etc).
This way, when you are doing formulas you can click on the operators on the
palette, instead of using the keyboard.
