I wish to know how many instances of a numeral are in a column. I am using the following formula:- COUNTIF($A$2:$A$101,1) to give a count of every occurance of 1 in the 100 row list in Column A.

Hi I'm trying to produce a timetable and each time I try and format the cells so that I have day, date and time the time just reverts to 12:00am. I reformat the cell, but it takes no notice. I've tried separating the two things out in columns and the time still comes up

In column A I have twenty groups, in Column B ref#, In Column C First Name, In Column D Surname and In Column E the numerical value. The data rows are from 2 to 534. I can find the total and maximum for each group using arrays.
