I'm sure this is simple, but it's driving me crazy. I have a column of HOURS WORKED and a column of HOURLY RATES. I need a formula for the GROSS WAGES column that goes as follows: gross wages are hours worked x rate with time and a half for hours over 40.

I know that hthe Count Function will count the number of times that a item occures in a list. I want to know how do I tell if its the firs ocurrence? That is, I only want to know True/False if its the firs occurence.

I have time sheets laid out in a simple worksheet with days of the week laid out, in 15 min intervals, with codes alongside the time. (Different columns, naturally) For example, Work is W, Planning and Strategy is STR, Social time is SOC, Reading is R and so on.
