I selected all cells which are under my needed parts and
hit delete or cut, but I didn't work. When I used

3 characters off the right side of a string and post the new results in a new
cell.  In other words, in cell A1 I have 123abc456.  In B1, I tried to put
rtrim(A1,3) so I could produce 123abc.
I remember doing this in earlier versions of Excel.  How can I do it in 2002?

I have a workbook with two worksheets. Column A of the second worksheets
contains a series of 7 digit numbers - 300xxxx from 0052 to 2417.  
Column A of the first worksheet references the same 7 digit numbers.

In Excel 2000 I used a feature called Data Analysis. Now I
have Excel 2003 and I cant find this feature anywhere??
