I have a spreadsheet that is not locked, but whenever I try to change the
border color on a line to match everything else, I click OK and it hasn't
changed.  when I go back into Format Cells, it's not changed.  I could
repeat the steps as many times as it takes to give up and ...

Two questions:
1) How do I add check boxes to items?  I see the check box on the Control
Toolbar but how do I add them to cells?  Does the worksheet need to be
protected first?

I'm writing a macro to modify 64 files. One of the things I want to
change is some of the column widths. I recorded a macro to change them
by selecting the column headers by control clicking on the various ones
I wanted to set to a particular width. This works fine when I do it

I have a spreadsheet that i plan to hide the row and column names.
In my spreasheet starting at cell b7 thru to b16 i have the numbers 1
to 10 (Identifier NUmbers)
and in cells c7 to c16 i have values that can be anything between 1

I am trying to create a chart in an Excel 2002 worksheet, but as I go
thru the chart wizard the "As object in" option is turned off. It will
only create a chart as a new sheet. When I click on Insert Obect, I
get an error message "Can't insert object". Does anyone know how to

I have one column that has product codes
I have another column where I have to add the same product codes plus a reference to
images that match the product codes
How can I automate this so I do not have to physically type in the path to the images?

indentation in our subheadings we use the increase indent, and decrease

I'm working with several worksheets in an Excel 2003 workbook.
I have used the 'Paste Special' & 'Paste Link' feature to successfully link
sections of different worksheets.  However, if cells or rows are inserted in
the 'Master' worksheet, the changes are not made via the link.

Below is an example of data in my excel sheet.

I want to write VBA code that does the following: When a value in column E
is changed to "John" that entire row is moved to a worksheet (in the same
spreadsheet) called "Assigned". Is this possible? Thanks!

I am using Excel 2000 Premium.  On only 2 computers and I have 25, when I
type in 25 in a cell, it changes to 35?

I have made a graph in Excel 97, but I cannot select all data points on
the graph. When I click on a data point only every other point (or so)
is highlighted.
I have deleted the graph and re-entered the data, still no good!
