Is it possible to change the color of Excel 2003 column and/or row
headings using VBA.  I would like to have them appear, under certain
conditions, as something other than the dull gray.  I know how to
inhibit their display but can't figure out how to change the color.

When I type in '=300+200' directly in a cellule the '=3' is deleted straight
awway giving me a '00+200' answer rather that 500
Same thing when I type in -300 I get 00 in the cellule, the 63 is deleted

   I am trying to fill a series in a row to the right.   Upon doing this
excel moves the value of each cell up only 1 column.   I want it to move up
2 columns.  For example here is the starting folrmula:

Is there a way to shade every other rown in a spreadhseet besides selecting
each row while holding ctrl down? Just looking for a shortcut to do this.
Seems someone at MS would have thought of an easy way to format the
spreadsheet in this manner and I am just to dumb to figure it ...

total up a column of figures to two decimal places. In some worksheets it
works fine, in others the resulting autosum value is 0.02 less than the

I have spreadsheets with six worksheets.  Each worksheet has the same logo
embedded in the header (Insert, Picture, From File...).  This is making the
spreadsheet almost a half a megabyte in size.  If I remove all but one of the
logo's, the file size is cut in half.

I'm trying to copy and paste Cisco switch port information in to Excel and to
be able to sort the port information so it looks like 2/1, 2/2, ...2/21,
2/22, etc. Excel treats my ports as dates and will not sort properly.
