I have been working with Excel for sometime.  I recently opened a new
workbook and the column headers have changed to numbers as opposed to
letters.  How do I get them changed back??

How do I seperate two words in the same cell, seperated by a comma into to
seperate cells.  eg. John,Smith (in cell A1) converted to John (in cell B1)

I am implementing a gradebook with excel.  How can I three assignments
weighted differently and still give me an average in one cell?  I also would
like to have columns open to add assignments and to have those assignments

When several workbooks are open in Excel 2003 and I try to close only one
workbook, all open workbooks close without saving any of the workbooks.  How
to correct so that each can be saved and closed individually?

I want to use Conditional Formatting to color a row (or 10 cells
across) based on the value of one cell.
If the specific cell value is "W" I want the row colored green.  If it
is "D" I want the row red, and so on according to my rules.

of one but can find nothing in Help that will allow me to change one.

While Excel's 2-D graph capabilities are excellent, 3-D graph quality
is very poor indeed; unless I am missing something.
Just try to plot any 3-D small table and see. I can't see how could be
called 3-D graph since it breaks each or mix all!

As for now I cannot read what I copy to my PDA. But when transfered back to

Taskbar has switched itself off. Does anyone know of a keyboard shortcut

I work at a firm where we prepare monthly bills for our clients.  The bill
consists of three Word documents and one cover letter.  I prepare the
calculations on several spreadsheets in one Excel workbook.  I would like the
calculations to automatically update the Word documents.  ...

Is it possible to print the last modified or saved date in the header/footer,
instead of the date printed?  
If not, is there a way to put this value in the worksheet itself?
