Everytime I open an Excel spreadsheet it opens to the last cell that I edited. Does anyone know how to make an Excel spreadsheet open to the top left cell on the first worksheet everytime... regardless of where I saved it last?

I have a column with various numbers. I want to be able to count certain numbers, such as 0-15,16-30, and so on. I want to be able to write an if statetment that says if a number is between 0 and 15, count it as a 1, 16-30 counted as a 2.

Lookin for an easy way to tell TRUE if two columns values are EXACTLY the same (same row, same value) and FALSE if not... Is there an Excel function to do that ? Or will I have to check every cell (if A1=B1, A2= B2,....)

Please, I'm just getting farther from the answer and I have to be up for church soon. First question. I'm obtuse but when I type in a date, eg jan 1 05 and then format/cell/date I select a date format and it morphs in to a completely different date.

Using Excel XP, I would like to count the number of occurences that fall between two numbers. For example, I would like to count how many occurences that are between 5 and 10 in A1:A7. I tried =COUNTIF(A1:A7,">=5,<=10 ") but it does not return the correct value. Any help ...
