I've set the spread sheet and have locked all the cells but those that I
want to have filled with data.  There are time when I would like to be able
to C&P the data to other sheets but when I do I also copy the format.  I
know I can use "paste special" but I want it so anyone can ...

Every time I open an exel file, it always asked me the macro options. But I
don't know what the macro is and certainly I don't need any macros. After I
enabled it, I use Tools->Macro->Macro and found no macro in the list. How
can I find and delete it. Thanks

Can anyone suggest a simpler way of adding and subtracting lbs ozs & drms.
An example of how I am calculating these at the moment is shown below. Rows
8, 9 and 12 being extra rows to help calculation.

computer, which runs XP and Office 2003. I cannot save or work on anything

I have several groups in a worksheet. The sheet is also protected, but
this prevents me from activating (opening/closing) the groups. How do i
cirkumvent this, without un-protecting the sheet?

I emailed a spreadsheet home from work. When I open the spreadsheet, it looks
OK bit I can't see all the data unless I reduce the zoom. I tried scrolling
to the right but it does not seem to do anything

I have two lists of names (col A, names can reappear) which are
classissified as either A or B entries in col B.
I need to know a) which names of list 1 appear on list 2 and b) how
often they appear on list 1 and list 2 and c) how many of the entries

I've been beating my head against the wall for the past 2 hours trying
to make this work.  Here is what I am doing:
I've got an Excel workbook with two worksheets (sheet1 and
ListMasters).  On the ListMasters worksheet, I have defined a Name

I want to be able to count the number of clients who are marked as "X" in
column Q .... and who are marked as "Low" in column M.
I tried countif... but it counted the number of clients marked Low and added
it to the number of X's.

Well, of course I've been working on this spreadsheet for over an hour.  I
deleted it without saving changes (long story). I believe the file can be
retrieved if it has a name (which it has) and you don't turn the computer off
(it's running).  Does anyone out there know how to do ...

I have a column of dates that needs to be compared current date and
highlighted if the date is less that today's date.
The dates were populated in a general non-specific format (below) and vary
in length.  My plan was to create a macro, that uses conditional formatting

The Macro I use to insert a Database from acces into my Excel Sheet works
perfectly. Except for this one thing.
I want the macro to "READ" the dates in cells A1 and A2 and use them as a
criteria. I came up with the macro beneath. But it does not seem to work. I

I have an query from Access database which depends on 3 parameters (user
selects from dropdown box). I need the parameters to be dependent on the
others i.e. When I select Team A if should list All TeamA records and when
2nd parameter BrandA is input it should show records dependent ...

I use Excel 2000.  Is there anyway to format numbers in 1000's?  Right now I
divide each cell by 1000 to get the results I want
(=5,000,000.00/1000=5,000) and format to zero decimals.
