Does anyone know how I can make the dropdown button on a list stay
visible whether the cell is active or not.

How do I convert  column of numbers (n=3000) to log 10 column of numbers?

How do I display a number in thousands or millions without rounding the
number?  For example, I would like to see 52,569,832 displayed as 52,569.

I have a datafeed that comes to me everyday i need to format one column
of around 1000 rows so it multiples the total column but a 1000 so
getting rid of the decimal point i.e £100.00 becoming 10000 , i also
need to do this using a macro. can anyone help

ANyone that can tell me if there is an referance listing for formulas with
all the things like (max,min eg.)
I need so many formulas that it would save me hourers.

This is frustrating, but maybe I'm just being dense. I'm running Excel 2003.
If I click on Print... and then select Preview, there is a button that says
Print... on the resulting Preview window toolbar, but it isn't Print... it's
Print (no ...). The ... is supposed to indicate a ...

Using Excel 2000 ive a spreadsheet with the wrong end total.
Looking at it, everything appears ok apart from the end total which is
wrong. The cell that the autosum didnt count is not formatted as text or
have an apostraphe in front of the number but excel is not counting this

Just a little nonsense for my 11yo.
I remember some years ago, one could type in a
formula in a particular cell in Excel, and would receive a sort of
flight simulator effect.

Does anyone know what the procedure for requesting Office 2003 hot
fixes that are not yet available through the office update site?

In my sheet, I have a bunch of cells that have dotted borders,
I cannot change this under format.
When I add a column alongside, that part of the column offers no
gridlines at all, all is blank.
