i want to list all my cd's/albums alphabetically and by year. As my collection grows is it possible to add to this list alphabetically and by year. Or am i barking up the wrong tree, and should i use something else to list my cd's with.

Before I go into reading all the help files. Is it possible to read and update a database file ( .mdb ) created with Visual Basic, using a macro from within an Excel 97 worksheet.

Is there a way to make the default spreadsheet open with the "print gridlines" box checked? I've tried going to File->Page Setup->Sheet->Print gridlines, then doing Save As, saving it as a template. But it doesn't "stick"

Apologies for the long subject line. I have a user who, when he opens Excel, gets 2 instances of any file he has opened in Excel (including Bool1.xls) in both the Applications page of Task Manager and the Start bar, but only one Process (Excel.exe) in the Processes tab of Task
