so I'm importing excel data into access.. the problems fields are mostly text.. but some large integers... and the large integers (stored in a text column in excel) keep on getting changed to scientific notation.

Is it possible to import a number of rows (data) from Access, and then have Excel automatically display these data in every third row - leaving two rows blank between them? If so, it would really make my day.

So i want to add dates in Excel i want to say.. this is this month; next month is I would normally use DateAdd function.. or dateserial-- or something.. but these aren't working for me in Excel; it just gives me this

I have saved a workbook as an Web htm that is now on my hardrive as C:/documents and settings/workbook.htm. What do I send to others to view this workbook and can I see their updates???

not yet a excel user I need the excel program and program file .xls. my computer is a xp. which excel program is compatable with xp and can i purchase a small version of excel just to run the file .xls amortization extra payment schedule. thanks

After a while of doing the same thing one after the other, I get the following error from Excel:"The information cannot be pasted because the copy area and the paste area are not the same shape and size". I am copying multiple rows, four columns wide from indivual month worksheets

As part of a formula (or as part of Copy->PasteSpecial, I need to overwrite a column of cells with either data or leave empty. Example, =(if a<>b,c,"") - where c is a number - doesn't work because it puts a blank in the cell.

I have a column containing money amounts, i.e. $45,789.99 etc. I am attempting to merge this column of data into a MS Word document. The amount merges fine, but the $ sign and comma do not merge. Am I missing something?
