automate creation of sheets in excel is there anyway to automate creation of sheets in excel? I would like to have one sheet that has a master list of all items. then a have sheets which are automaticaly generated, 1 sheet for every 30 items on the master sheet.

Excel 97's gone funny and it is now adding 2 spaces automatically afte a decimal point on existing and new spreadsheets as they are typed. don't know what's caused it, can somebody please help. Cheers --

Is there some type of code that I could put into VBA for a user form so that when the user clicks "Enter" that an email is sent to someone letting them know the excel file has been updated? The form will be used within our LAN/WAN and we do have our own e-mail

I have a IF formula in a cells H4:M4 that says HIDE or UNHIDE based on a condition in another cell. I want to hide the column based on the HIDE/UNHIDE value of the formula. I want to be able to change which columns are hidden based on the result of the IF formula, as it changes

I have created workbooks to analysis data for my fishing. There are 12 workbooks (each containing 48 sheets), one workbook per year for the last 12 years, each approx. 12,600KB. Each years workbook is linked to the following years workbook by some 1000+ cells.

I'm stucked with the following: I try to retrieve a result (column C)via a combination of a INDEX and two MATCH functions, the first MATCH needs to be matched exactly but the second MATCH has to be defined as the closest match.

Dear friends, Everytime I type the Date of 10 Dec. 2005 as 10/12/2005, it converted to 12/10/2005 and it refused to be modified when I try to adjust it from FormatCells.

I have told create a Spred Sheet. Which has 2 inter-related Columns. Eg : Column A Should have Provision For Selecting a product from the drop Down list ( Product_1 , Product_2 ) And i have Other related Drop down list to Select from the Column B.
