How can one determine if a cells contais a value or a formula? I'm trying to
use Conditional Formatting to color code the cells based on their content
(formula or value).

When this happens, XL locks up and I have to reboot.

I'm attempting to create a speadsheet where if a certain value is entered in
a cell, then it applies a cell format to the entire row.  ie.  if you enter
'y' in a cell, then the entire row is coloured yellow or if you enter 'n'
it's green....

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to format the returned data

I am using Excel 2K SP3 with Win XP pro SP2.
I noticed that the shape of the cursor does not change when I move it over a
command button. This only occurs on the second monitor, on the primary one

I'm familiar with VBA, but I have never written VBA in Excel.
I have a worksheet that contains personal data on employees.  Some
fields have codes that I need to find the sum of, for example for the
field ECode (column C) I need to count how many are "0", "1", "2", etc.
