I am trying to combine three separate indexes (authors in the first
column, and volume & page number/s in the following columns) and really
only have Word and Excel 2000 to work with. The data is all as text,
because otherwise it messes up the number format.

So, I want to select A1 + 4.

I recently purchased a new system and running Windows XP Pro. All
attachments for Excel which come over in my email are identified as a *.zma
file.
Anybody know how to correct this to support a *.xls file?

When you record a new macro it asks you what Ctrl key you want to access it
with.  If you Edit the Properties of a Macro it asks you what Ctrl-Shift key
you want to use to access a macro.  How can you have more control over this
to assign the proper key to a macro?  Thanks.

The rows of data in the spreedsheet A1:E1200 varies each month.
I.E.  month 1 there is data in A1:E800,  month 2 there is data in
