Column B in a spreadsheet has a single word in each cell. Some words
begin with an upper case letter, others with a lower case letter. Can
someone please tell me a simple way to extract a list of those rows
where the word in column B begins with an upper case letter?

In a spreadsheet, I have a text string with names (not fixed location).
I want to find the 3 characters of the name and if it matches show it
as the result in the column. For that I have added in 1 column a table
with the possible 3 characters of the name.

I deleted an excel file I had typed.  Now I can't figure out how to delete
the file name.  It still shows up when you click on open to see the files.  
You can still open this but there is nothing there.  Need to delete FILE NAME

I am using Excel 2003 as a spreadsheet for a vocabulary list for
Biblical Hebrew. The first column has the word, second a gloss

We have Excel 2000 running on Windows 2000.
I have a spreadsheet with a column that is filtered by Status - Open or
Closed.

In a worksheet of mine I have a bunch of dates in column A in the format
dd/mm/yyyy.  I also have data in between the dates in that column and I was
wondering if there was a formula that will count the number of dates.

I have one master sheet with around 50 rows in it. For each Row there
is corrosponding worksheet. e.g. Row #23 will have corrosponding
worksheet named '23'. I want to populate some data from worksheet 23 in
Row no. 23 in master sheet.  How should I refer the sheet 23
