Is there a way to stop Excel from changing the last-modified date of
every file that is opened (even when no changes are made and save is
never pressed)? This is really screwing us up in the office because we
are looking through a ton of old files for one that was last-modified ...

don't think it's worth it for one document though.

This is probably a simple question, but what I am trying to do is draw
a pie chart of certain number of values. Each of those values has a
label attached to it. I was wondering if there is anyway to get excel
to group together the values with similar labels before drawing the pie

Need help. I need a macro or program that can sort and copy the
information I enter in one sheet over to another sheet. The information
needs to be sorted by name and filed on the distention sheet in that

Sorry another issue.  I have a spreadshseet with values in A1 B1 & C1.
Column B is hidden.  I want to copy the values in A1:C1 and paste these
into F1:G1 but i don't want the value in hidden cell (B1) to be included
in the pasted items.

We have an old spreadsheet that was originally created by Excel 2000.
It is a complex workbook with many formulas.  It does not have locked
cells, nor is it protected.
The problem, is that a bunch of cells will not allow for formatting.

I have been trying to separate addresses from 1 cell to multiple cells.
I have 500 to do, is there a quick way to go about it.
