i have a shared excel file in the server and my OS is windows nt.then my file have change its filename to 494F6100 from SCS.582SR. and the type of file was change to File from microsoft excel worksheet. can you help me what are the possible cause of this?

Could some kind person assist with this? Main data on a range is split by macro into several worksheets and each worksheet get named as the result of the filtered split (i.e. if column A of main data is entered with various rows cat dog rat there will be worksheets
