I'm not the most avid Excel user... though I do use it for tracking alot of personal finance stuff. One my credit card companies allows me to download all transactions into a CSV. Works great, but they pick an ugly date format... "20051213120000[0:GMT]"

I'm trying to work out the age of someone, based on the current date an their date of birth. I've used the YEAR [Year(A1)-Year(B1)] function bu it rounds up? Can anyone help?

When I paste text (of a different format) into a cell with a different format, a small Paste Option icon appears on the bottom right hand corner of the pasted cell. There are two options in this Paste Option icon: "Keep Source Formatting" and "Match Destination Formatting".

Over time I installed Adobe Acrobat PDFcreate and Scansoft PDFCreate softwares. Both put menu items into the Excel 2003 menu at the very top. I have uninstalled the apps but the menu selections still appear in Excel. How can I get rid of these?
