Hi Excel - experts!
I'm somewhat baffeled:
On sheet 1 I have defined a "name" for cells A3:A500 as "AllDays".
On sheet 3 I have a formula using this name: =SUBTOTAL(9;AllDays)

This is probably something simple, but I'm such a novice I don't know where
to start. I want to track my attendance at monthly meetings. I have five
defined (don't know if that's the right term) plus numerous miscellaneous
meetings I attend every month. I would like to be able to ...

I have been given the task of updating our hrly tracking of employees at
my job. We have lovely excel sheets that do this, however we have old
ones that convert the time from hrs and minutes to hours and two
decimal places. We put them into a new spreadsheet (why? I don't know!)
