Whenever I copy a worksheet to a new page, I have to reset the column widths, Bold selections, alignments, etc. How do I copy so that the non-text material appears at the destination? "Paste special" doesn't help. Thanks Peg

I've got 3 columns of names of domains, which are never the same, and want to create a list (or column) which takes these 3 columns and list the domains in order without redundancy (the same name could be up t 10 times, so that name should appear only once in the list)

Trying to run a macro for a sort. If fixed column - not a problem, but I want the macro to sort if column month tally's with B1 E.g. if Month 1-3-06 then sorts column D if 1-4-06 sorts column E etc.

Is there a limit to the amount of text you can have in a cell? After about 20 lines the word wrap stops wrapping text. Is this adjustable?

i was wondering if there's a way to replace the astris character ( * ) in the built in find/replace tool in excel. anyone know how? for some reason excel replaces every full cell instead of just the *'s. thanks

I have xls files saved to my Desktop. When I double click any of them, excel will start, but then lock up. If I open Excel, then File->Open->Browse to file and then open, I have no problems. Any ideas as to what might be the problem? Thanks.
