If I put = Row() in a column of cells I get the row number. Now, suppose I filter the data. I want to show the sequence row number of the filtered data so that it shows 1,2,3,4,5 etc regardless of the actual row number.

I have this user that says when she opens Excel the only options she has is to go into File or View. She has no Tools, Help, etc. She has reinstalled Excel to no avail. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this?? Thanks

i transfer bank statements to excel for later reference, and in one of them i would like to conditionally format the whole row to be red (or if this is not possible then the relevant cell) if the payment box contains a minus sign.
