How can i format a cell that will display the ime as 08:00 when i enter 8? i
have tried using the format hh:mm but when i enter 8 the cell displays
00:00:00 and the formula bar shows 08/01/1900 00:00:00.

I have seen this question before but am unable to find the message.
I have a MS Word document in address label format.  I would like
to convert this file to a spread sheet.  How do I do this?

How do I set a default data sort on a selected range in Exel. I select from
the collumn that the data need to be sorted on. But I have to select
decending all the time and select no header row all the time. All I want to

How can I make this work?
I have a worksheet. I need to extract the first two digits of a number. The
two digit number determines which equipment to use.That number checks
against a vlookup table and then the equipment is entered in another cell.

I've got three columns.
A2:A7000 is customer number.  
B2:B7000 is a circuit ID (unique telecom ID).
